Some Dog! by Mary Casanova and illustrations by Ard Hoyt was given The 2010 Missouri Show Me Readers Award. The award is a children's choice award for grades one through three, sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians.  Children must read or have read to them a minimum of six of the nominated books in order to vote.
